Synchronising Sound

Today we learnt about synchronising sound and how to use this when filming out opening sequence. We then learnt how to edit this sound so that it is in sync with our footage.

First, we were shown how to use the microphone to record thing such as dialogue. Once we took a sample of sound from a conversation with the microphone you have to plug the SD card and the microphone into the computer.

Then we have to load up Adobe Soundbooth we use this to cheek the sound and transfer it into a file we could in Premiere Pro. We then opened Premiere pro and used this to sync up the footage and the sound we did this by asking the subjects in the short scene to clap before they read out the dialogue.

From doing this we have learnt how to improve the sound for our film opening.
